Rouge Bunny Rouge When Birds are Singing... Long-Lasting Eye Shadow in Angelic Cockatiels and Gracious Arasari

Diposkan oleh Pengetahuan dan Pengalaman on Wednesday, August 31, 2011

What taupe or neutral eye shadow lover could resist Rouge Bunny Rouge's When Birds are Singing... Long-Lasting Eyeshadows in Angelic Cockatiels and Gracious Arasari? ($35.86 at this time, varies with exchange rate)? Not this neutral lover!

Rouge Bunny Rouge's powder eye shadows have a lightweight, creamy touch and extraordinary adherence. The first time I applied one, I wondered how Rouge Bunny Rouge made the powder so creamy. It resembles a cream-powder hybrid, with its beautiful texture. I knew I would be adding to my collection over time, and I have.

I am charmed by Rouge Bunny Rouge's enchanting stories!

The firefly festival is eagerly awaited all year in the Enchanted Garden. For then on this very special day, the best voices of the bird world feed on these tiny fireworks that embellish their voices and then gather to perform a single concert together. Their jubilant musical notes are inscribed in a syrup of figs and milk and preserved in tiny pots to be enjoyed the year round.

Like this golden froth of musical syrup, 'When Birds are Singing...' Eye Shadows are a time-defying exotic enigma. This is plumage to adorn you in shades as deliciously mellow as soft silence that flows, or as brilliantly potent as jeweled notes. So addictive are these morsels that you'll be causing your own kaleidoscopic ripples every time you wear them.

The formula of When Birds are Singing... creates lively, dynamic color and a second-skin effect as the shadows melt into the eyelids, looking like they belong there. All of the shades stay perfectly placed and look freshly applied all day, without losing a bit of their luster. One of the ingredients, orange-derived flavonoid, is said to improve blood microcirculation, enhance luminosity, and serve as a free radical scavenger. That's an extra-added benefit when a shadow color is so pretty. I would purchase When Birds Are Singing... even without the skin-care benefits.

About six weeks ago, I received an order with Angelic Cockatiels and Gracious Arasari, two neutrals that looked lovely in the swatches. I selected them from 20 possible shades (actually 19 because of what I had purchased already), and I am thrilled with them. Although the online swatches looked similar, these eye shadows are very different. In the photo above, Gracious Arasari is shown on the left, and Angelic Cockatiels is on the right. All of my photos in this feature were taken in full sun.

Angelic Cockatiels is described as a metallic-finish golden honey with a hint of copper. A close-up of the compact is shown at left. Gracious Arasari is described at Zuneta as a semi-matte nude taupe with the barest whisper of pink. These are excellent descriptions.

Angelic Cockatiels is shown in the compact above left. It is exquisite on my skin - shimmering, softly metallic, and eye-catching. A close-up of Gracious Arasari is shown at right. You can see that this shadow in the compact has much less shimmer than the other. Fortunately (for my tastes), it's not "flat matte." It has life.

I took a few swatch photos to show you the shades on my arm. I applied each heavily (and dry) with a sponge-tipped applicator.

Where Angelic Cockatiels (at top) is bold and shimmering, Gracious Arasari is light and tender. They pair beautifully, although I haven't limited their use to this pairing. I love to use Angelic Cockatiels alone, swiping it quickly and lightly over my lid, from lash line to crease. It makes my blue eyes pop.

Gracious Arasari is a barely there taupe - perfect for us fair-skinned gals. It may not light up these swatch photos, but it's a remarkably useful shade. I like to use it in the crease when I want a natural look, and it makes a gorgeous liner under my lower lashes.

Your own coloring will guide your use of these shades or any of the other When Birds Are Singing... eye shadows. I've selected neutral shades, but I'm drawn to some of the vibrant colors. Mysterious Tinamou, a deep sea blue, reminiscent of a wild duck's plumage, looks exquisite. Whispering Ibis also looks gorgeous. It's described as an iridescent fern green, shimmering with gold pearls. I'm sighing. I keep ordering from Zuneta (I did last weekend when they offered free shipping). I love everything I receive. You will to, I'll bet.

Even without a promotion, Zuneta offers free international shipping for orders over £65. It's not hard to spend that much there!

Rouge Bunny Rouge Succulence of Dew Sheer Lipstick

Diposkan oleh Pengetahuan dan Pengalaman on Monday, June 13, 2011

What better way to continue my Rouge Bunny Rouge love fest than with a lipstick? I'm partial to sheer lipsticks, so when I saw at Zuneta that Rouge Bunny Rouge offered eight shades in a sheer formula, I had a dilemma. Buy one or all eight? I decided to buy one, try it out, and then order more. That "rational process" has resulted in an upcoming order - delayed gratification as I work my way though this whole line. I need more of these succulent lip colors!

Succulence of Dew Sheer Lipstick ($32.57) has all the qualities of my other new Rouge Bunny Rouge makeup beauties: whimsical packaging, lust-worthy color, and a story. Let's enjoy the story first.

This lipstick range is inspired by the translucently delicate butterflies from the Enchanted Garden. Their finesse is captured and cradled here for you in a sensuously sheer lipstick that acts with the power of a gloss. Soft, diaphanous colors hover on your lips so finely that they enhance and refine your naturalness into a graceful glamour. You'll whisper sexy enchantments with full, moist, and brilliantly shiny lips, but you'll never be overdone. Once you experience the beguilement you'll create with this new subtlety, you will never go back to having to shout. With such water-honeyed murmurings, you'll leave them longing for just one more glimpse of you...

The easy glide, hydrating dew-finish formula ensures superb comfort and softness. Suffused with manoi butter, hop extract, and vitamin E to nourish and protect from dryness and aging. Marine filling spheres fill in fine lines and wrinkles; sepilift provides firming action and re-sculpts the lips to fullness.

Tell me you could read that and not want all of them! I had a problem. I wanted Dark Juices (shiny, sheer, blue-toned plum shimmering with silver). I wanted Murmurings (wet effect, sheer, cool damson, like you have just eaten a bowl of cherries). I wanted Dissolved in Dreams (shiny, sheer watermelon with a silver shimmer). I decided to go with my dreams, ordering Dissolved in Dreams, what turned out to be one of the prettiest watermelon shades I've ever seen. I adore Zuneta's descriptions - they are so accurate! The color on my skin and lips is watermelon at its finest.

The tube photo above - taken in full sun (with the cap holding the lipstick from rolling down the incline of my driveway) - makes the lipstick appear to have some orange in it. That's not the way it applies. I took multiple swatch photos to ensure that I could accurately portray the color on skin. All were taken in sunshine, but at different angles. I was trying not to shine so much, even though I had gleam in my eye from this gorgeous lip color.

This is the watermelon you see in Ralph Lauren ads - so perfect you can taste it. The only thing that could have eclipsed the magic of its "discovery" would have been for my darling garden bunny to appear as I was taking photos in my own Enchanted Garden. That would have been a sign.

The color is bright - brighter than I normally wear, but so gorgeous that I'm going to wear it often. It makes my eyes pop bluer than they normally look. It's not as sheer as Dior Addict. It's more like Chanel's Rouge Coco Shine in its finish. There's no fragrance to distract, and it's extremely long-lasting (remember, nothing lasts for hours on end for me). It feels good on my lips, with a hard-to-describe presence. I know it's there, but it's almost weightless.

I now think Murmurings may be too dark for me, but I know I'll be ordering Tongue Tickles, Dark Juices, and probably Fluttering Sighs. I'm sure I will sigh when they arrive. I still have more to show you from my second order, though. Stay tuned!

You can purchase Rouge Bunny Rouge at Zuneta. They offer free international shipping with orders over £65.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Bronzing Glow Liquid As If It Were Summer Still...

Diposkan oleh Pengetahuan dan Pengalaman on Thursday, June 9, 2011

I received Rouge Bunny Rouge Bronzing Glow Liquid As If It Were Summer Still... ($99.26) at the start of summer. Even so, I appreciate the wishful thinking of its title, imagining that feeling we experience as autumn's chill descends, like a curtain on the last act of summer.

I delight in the descriptions provided for Rouge Bunny Rouge's products on Zuneta's Web site. I can't compete with the whimsy!

When the Sun-God cries tears of joy, each precious drop is collected by the Fire Sprites in the Enchanted Garden. These precious drops are sent to all corners of the realm to bring the light and delight of summer, in all seasons, in all weathers.

The Order of Rouge Bunny Rouge recreated this liquid enchantment in a bottle to polish your skin to a natural, even, and radiant blissed-out halo of warmth. The subtle softness of the golden micro-particles contained within its heart will burnish you to glistening silk, all laid out on a reserved bed of summer.

Anoint yourself, with this delicately exotic liquid, to remind you of spinning until light-headed under the dreamy light of the sun on a mid-summer's day. Gloriously glamorous and inexorably captivating, you'll be transformed into a Sun Angel, even in the midst of the greyest winter.

This liquid formula of the future will magnify your youth and summer glow timelessly. Giving a transparent, extremely luminous and smoothing finish. The health and beauty of the face and body are emphasized beyond comparison, by a natural lighting effect.

This Bronzing Glow Liquid illuminates while it bronzes. The glow it provides is gorgeous, and you can apply it sheerly for a touch of warmth or layer it for a bronze goddess look. Because the intensity of the application is up to each user, this bronzer will work for everyone who wants a summer glow. The shade is an incredible, luminous, shimmering brown. There isn't a trace of orange. It looks pretty on my pale skin, and I'll bet it would look equally good on medium and dark complexions. I enjoy a laugh when my chocolate-skinned friends tell me they need a bronzer. They have no idea how envious I am of their ageless, gorgeously warm skin.

Not only is Bronzing Glow Liquid great for a glow, it's packed with ingredients that are good for our skin. It contains hyaluronic acid and a mix of triglycerides to moisturize and smooth the skin. Grape seed oil will help restore the elasticity of the skin. I love makeup that multitasks. I also love makeup that looks nice in its packaging and container. Each Rouge Bunny Rouge gem is cleverly decorated with a design from the Enchanted Garden.

There is no question that Bronzing Glow Liquid As If It Were Summer Still... is pricey. Basically, it's $100 U.S. dollars. A little goes a very long way, so I doubt anyone could use a whole bottle in less than a year, particularly if the product is limited to the face, neck, and décolleté. I wouldn't recommend using it as a full body bronzer. I think it's too expensive for that, even if the Product Application Guide at Zuneta shows it being applied to a model's arms, discusses using it over the whole body, and incidentally mentions the face. However, there's plenty in the bottle if you want to go full-on bronze.

The bottle has a long "paddle" inside for drawing out the product. You can use the tip of the paddle to apply a dab to your palm and apply it from the palm with either your fingers or a brush.

I wanted to show you a swatch photo. My swatch was "messy." The contents of the bottle expanded a bit in transit (as liquids often do during air travel), so I took a dab of this liquid gold from the rim of the bottle with my finger to spread on my arm. My photo was taken in full sun, but the shimmer you see is the bronzer. I applied it heavily for this photo.

I've tried Bronzing Glow Liquid on my face, applying it lightly to the high points of my face, as well as my neck and my chest. I think it looked fabulous, and it did not transfer to my clothing. I let it dry before I dressed.

I've become such a Rouge Bunny Rouge addict. As I've mentioned recently, Zuneta's customer service, helping me (or you) select colors online is superlative. The shipping from the U.K. is free to U.S. customers who order enough. I haven't had any trouble achieving the free shipping level. I've done it multiple times! There's even more Rouge Bunny Rouge to come here at Best Things in Beauty - more of the Enchanted Garden...maybe a few more Fire Sprites. If you missed my earlier features, just scroll down (a few pages).

You can find the Rouge Bunny Rouge Web site at this link. They have a Facebook page here. Head over to Zuneta to browse and order. Just remember, with the currency exchange, you can expect to pay a little more than you might normally pay for exclusive, luxury cosmetics in the U.S.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Silk Aether Long-lasting Cream Eye Shadow

Diposkan oleh Pengetahuan dan Pengalaman on Wednesday, June 1, 2011

My personal soap opera continues...love at first sight, obsession, pursuit, possession - love turned to lust for everything Rouge Bunny Rouge. This morning I featured Original Skin Blush for Love of Roses. Now I'd like to show you Silk Aether Long-lasting Cream Eye Shadow ($40.32). I purchased Velvet Fritillary from Zuneta. If you don't know the online boutique, please read this morning's feature. Knowing Zuneta is like having a door pass to an exclusive club.

I was placing my first Rouge Bunny Rouge order, sight unseen, and trusting my instincts to select products and colors I would like. Since I adore cream eye shadows, Silk Aether Long-lasting Cream Eye Shadow, with a wand applicator, was a natural. It's available in five shades. The one that fascinated me the most was Velvet Fritillary, described online (and perfectly) as a satin wash of greyish khaki with golden reflections, buildable to a darker, more opaque, metallic hue of the same shade. I love grey, and I love khaki, so it jumped right into my shopping cart during my e-mail conversations with the team at Zuneta.

Since I love the way Rouge Bunny Rouge is described at Zuneta, I have to share this enchanting description of Silk Aether Long-lasting Cream Eye Shadow.

Deep inside one of the Enchanted Garden’s dense jungles, surrounded by a thick and leafy rain forest, lies the Butterfly Makers Workshop. As the hot, monsoon rains drum down upon its roof, inside there is serene calm, as hundreds of the most skillful tailors labor lovingly over exquisitely fine fabrics, cutting and moulding them with a precision that only a select few can ever manage to attain. Rolls of light and airy chiffon, luxuriant velvet, delicate white batiste, and sparkling brocade are cut, smoothed, and shaped by the expert fingers of the craftsmen. A tailor will close his eyes, and, fabric in hand, imagine on a mental canvas the image of a perfect, elegant butterfly. After many hours of work, the outline of smooth wings becomes apparent, absent of the smallest crinkle. It is said that some of the butterflies are so perfect that they burst forth from the fingers of the tailors. Acquiring a life of their own, they mingle with the light and fly away into the rain forest, gently flapping their smooth, silky wings.

We were inspired by these very butterflies that sprung to life, to bring you Silk Aether Long-lasting Cream Eye Shadow. Our utmost Long-lasting Cream Eye Shadows caress your skin with the ease of a butterfly wing beat, so that your lids appear smooth and renewed, while coated with a semi-matte, slightly luminous color. It’s an irresistible combination of exceptionally long-wear, a non-crease formula, and smudge-proof texture. Our comfortable wand includes a light, velvet, creamy formula for silky gliding. Easy application is achieved by innovative silicon waxes and gels, in combination with beeswax. Rouge Bunny Rouge added para cress flower extract to stimulate natural skin-lifting capabilities and coffee extract to increase collagen and elastin production while also enhancing the natural skin defenses.

How could I resist? An enchanted garden, butterflies, whimsy, airy chiffon, and skin-enhancing color will get my attention any day! When my shadow came, it was love at first sight. I loved the packaging, the tube, and the color of Velvet Fritillary. I'm fairly sure that one or two of the additional colors will populate my third order.

My photo above right shows the box, tube, and wand. My photo at left shows a close-up of the applicator, which should give you a pretty good idea of the Velvet Fritillary shade on the wand. It intrigued me the second I opened it. I could see the subtle greyed khaki, just as promised, and I couldn't wait to get it on my skin! I was applying eye shadow long after my "public day" had ended.

My swatch photos show Velvet Fritillary in two ways. They were taken in outdoor sunlight. In the photo below right, the shadow was applied directly from the wand to my arm to show you the unblended color.

Look at its complexity! It's a greyed khaki, as promised, with golden tones, but words cannot describe its elegance. The photo below left shows the same swatch smudged lightly with my finger. Had I wanted to tone it down even more, I could have used any synthetic brush I have or Rouge Bunny Rouge's Large Shader (003) or Mini Shader (005) Brush - or my finger - to even the application of the cream shadow. Can I gush? Isn't this shade exquisite? What khaki or neutral lover wouldn't want it? Even gold enthusiasts will covet it.

All Silk Aether Long-lasting Cream Eye Shadows can be worn in two ways - as a satin wash of color with a one-layer application (my personal style) or a stronger application for more oomph. The shadow is so easily blended, you can achieve any look you desire.

Of course, there's a Product Application Guide at Zuneta. Their swatch photo at the beginning of the clip makes Velvet Fritillary look way more green (and honestly less interesting) than it really is. It's possible it's just my computer display, though, since all displays portray colors differently. The soft jazz that accompanies the demonstration is relaxing, making the experience of purchasing a treat, even if I can't look like that young model.

As I mentioned this morning, Zuneta's customer service, helping me (or you) select colors online is superlative. The shipping from the U.K. is free to U.S. customers who order enough. I didn't have any trouble achieving the free shipping level. I did it twice, and I'm sure to do it a third time soon! There's more Rouge Bunny Rouge to come here at Best Things in Beauty.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Original Skin Blush for Love of Roses

Diposkan oleh Pengetahuan dan Pengalaman

Gaia, The Non-Blonde, is totally responsible for one of my newest obsessions, Rouge Bunny Rouge. It's a London-born and Moscow-London-based line, launched in 2006, that's quickly moving from a quirky cult secret to a global beauty brand.

Recently, I placed two orders with Zuneta, a U.K. luxury online beauty boutique and magazine that specializes in providing cutting-edge brands and simple, tailor-made beauty advice for every skin type. The team at Zuneta is passionate about beauty, and they search high and low to find the best brands from around the world. It's the best source for Rouge Bunny Rouge fanatics in the United States.

An intricate and luxurious cosmetics brand, Rouge Bunny Rouge, twists opulence and beauty with embellished detailing to deliver a range of color makeup that embraces both romance and whimsy. Wearable, blendable, and adaptable formulas and shades are at the very heart of Rouge Bunny Rouge. The formulas are absolutely outstanding and have been sourced from the world's most sophisticated laboratories. Zuneta delighted to be able to share this unique and qualitative brand with you.

Zuneta calls Rouge Bunny Rouge easily the most imaginative, inspirational, and addictive brand they’ve come across! The formulas are out of this world. They state online, "Be warned, once you fall down the rabbit hole and try this brand there is no going back." I'll say!

My first order arrived remarkably quickly for an international shipment. Before it arrived, I had a friendly online correspondence with Zuneta. I had ordered a highlighter that had just sold out. They offered me many possibilities, from cancellation to substitution. I wanted to try something different. After I told them about my skin tone, they offered product suggestions. Their customer service was extraordinary! I ended up spending more than I had planned to spend. I was so happy with everything that I placed a second order, which has not yet arrived.

Today, I'd like to show you Original Skin Blush for Love of Roses ($38.77) in two shades, Delicata and Gracilis. When ordering sight unseen, I gravitate toward light, mistake-proof colors. These turned out to be exactly that.

The packaging of these "darling" compacts is whimsical - adorable, actually. From the box, which has a botanical theme on one side and the Rouge Bunny Rouge coat of arms, with bunnies, of course, on the other, it's enticing. The compacts have a pretty white-on-black floral design. I had to show you the insert that protects the powder blushes. It's shown in my photo at left. The blushes themselves have an embossed design too.

The photo shows Delicata at left and Gracilis at right. Delicata is described by Zuneta as a nude beige-rose with the barest hint of peach for an illuminated natural glow - excellent to accentuate your cheekbones. Gracilis is described as a medium rose with a hint of mauve and best suited for pale, cool complexions. Those descriptions are spot-on!

I applied both shades heavily for my swatch photo at right. I used a sponge-tipped applicator to get enough pigment for swatches. The photo was taken outdoors in full sun. Gracilis is shown at the top, with Delicata is below. You can see that my arm gleams from the sunlight, but the blushes are fairly calm and natural. They are relatively matte. Delicata is actually a good bronzer for very fair skin.

Here is how Zuneta describes them...

Deep inside a labyrinth of perfectly topiaried winding lanes in the Enchanted Garden lies the Rose Orchard. The sweet and tantalizing fragrance of the roses, combined with the sight of their intense pigments, provokes torturous visions of languorous beauty. The thorns of the flowers, so piercingly sharp, can slice through flesh as though it were air, and the elegant, gorgeous Floribunda-Elves are the only guardians that the roses, with their poisonous thorns, will allow to tend the orchard. The Floribundas perfectly preen and nurture each flower, and in return, they are gifted by the roses with the most effervescent and radiant faces in the whole of the Enchanted Garden, their cheeks exuding happiness and excitement, causing many a lover to fall to his knees. Rouge Bunny Rouge has recreated for you this radiant glow with six petal-soft colors to impart a splendorous bloom and captivate your heart's desires.

Original Skin Blush blends with a sheer, silky touch for a naturally luminous glow. A medley of active ingredients, including Uhaloa from Hawaii, also known as velvet-leaf, and modern technologies impart a long-term brightening effect. Indian gooseberry fruit extract stands guard against free radicals. Sheer pearls amplify the creamy, soft touch and ensure a limpid glow. Innovative powders entwine with your skin to preserve perfection all day long. The result is your skin but better; you'll wonder how you blushed before.

How could you resist that? I couldn't. Now that I have two of them, I want more. I would love to try Habanera, Orpheline, and Florita - even though some of those are recommended for darker skin tones. The Original Skin Blush powder is sheer, so I think I can pull off the shades for warmer and darker skin tones.

You are going to love these blushes - and everything else I'll feature in the coming week(s). Zuneta offers product application guides for the Rouge Bunny Rouge products. As I mentioned, their customer service, helping me (or you) select colors online (in a friendly e-mail conversation in my case), is superlative. The shipping from the U.K. is free to U.S. customers if you order enough. I didn't have any trouble achieving the free shipping level. I did it twice! There's more Rouge Bunny Rouge to come here at Best Things in Beauty.
