Although still premature since official casting has not been started, Ramirez(PR Asia Worldwide Communications director) said Kapamilya actress Erich Gonzales would most likely be Maurio Maurer's leading lady in the movie project after a recommendation from Star Cinema. However, Ramirez reiterated that the Mario Maurer-Erich Gonzales movie is not final yet.
"ERICH GONZALES is the TOP actress recommended to us by Star Cinema - her acting skills, Filipina looks make her a perfect fit for the ROLE,"Ramirez tweeted. "THE SELECTION of the ACTRESS position will only be revealed after Mario Maurer reviews the SCRIPT - so nothing is FINAL yet! Thank you,"she said.
But, there are some rumors that Marian Rivera and the Thai actor will do a project. Earlier this month, Mario Maurer was reported to be coming to Manila for a Penshoppe endorsement. So lets see who will be picked.

Stars attended the hottest movie Temptation Island Remake. The Female cast caught up except Heart Evangelista. The actress from the Original version of the movie attended the premiere too, like Deborah Sun and Azenith Briones. Male stars and other celebrities from Kapamilya spotted too, like Jake Cuenca, Victor Basa, Korina Sanchez and many more!
The comedy remake of "Temptation Island" is now in full swing. The main female cast are Heart Evangelista, Marian Rivera, Lovi Poe, Solenn Heussaff and Rufa Mae Quinto. Marian will reprise the role of a con artist originally portrayed by Azenith Briones while Solenn brings life to a social climber originally played by Bambi Arambulo. Heart is uncomfortable about doing a scene in the movie so she switched roles with Lovi who did not mind exchanging roles with Heart because they are friends. Then Lovi portray the role of a socialite originally played by Jennifer Cortez while Heart reprises the role of a college student originally played by Dina Bonnevie. Rufa Mae Quinto plays the role of Deborah Sun, the maid of Jennifer Cortez in the original film Mother Lily Monteverde, the Regal Films matriarch, is the producer of "Temptation Island. Hair Asia magazine features Marian Rivera which is a tribute to late Elizabeth Taylor. Its really great about this issue besides Marian’s transformation as Elizabeth Taylor, is that this issue was shot back last November 2010 and the issue finally came out a few days after the Hollywood icon died. The March 2011 release of the magazine was to coincide with the annual Hair Asia runway show featuring all the hair stylists in the Philippines.

Four Kapuso actresses will topbill the remake of the classic movie Temptation Island directed by Joey Gosiengfiao. Produced by Regal Films, Temptation Island narrates the misadventures of four beauty contestants from a fictional “Miss Manila Sunshine Beauty Pageant.” They were stranded in a desert island with no food, water, and shelter.
