Here's the latest bit of silliness from the Grand Prix Commission.

Enjoy the 125 two-strokes while you can.  We are going to have 250cc four-stroke singles from 2012. And who knows what other silliness may follow?

IM announcement - Decision of the Grand Prix Commission
The Grand Prix Commission, composed of Messrs. Carmelo Ezpeleta (Dorna, Chairman), Ignacio Verneda (FIM Executive Director, Sport), Hervé Poncharal (IRTA) and Takanao Tsubouchi (MSMA), in the presence of Jorge Viegas (FIM Deputy President), Javier Alonso (Dorna), Rezsö Bulcsu (FIM CCR Director) and M. Paul Butler (Secretary of the meeting), in a meeting held on 19 March in Doha (Qatar), unanimously decided to introduce amendments to the Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Regulations.
(Henceforth, only Italian and Spanish riders are allowed to race in the MotoGP class on a Honda.)
