The Chronic Dev Team has just made available for download Greenpois0n RC5 to iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak so untethered without SHSH required. As announced in this article, this first version of Greenpois0n RC5 is for the Mac. Windows and Linux versions are coming soon. Good news, all iPhone / iPod iPad are concerned.
